The Streamlight ProTac HL 5-X USB is a powerful and versatile tactical flashlight that delivers exceptional illumination. Featuring a maximum output of 3,500 lumens, this full-size flashlight is the brightest addition to the ProTac series, providing one of the brightest tactical light solutions available.
Designed with user convenience in mind, the ProTac HL 5-X USB comes as a complete rechargeable system. It includes a charge cord and two SL-B26™ rechargeable battery packs, each equipped with integrated micro-USB charge ports for easy recharging. Additionally, the flashlight can also accept four CR123A lithium batteries (sold separately) for those who prefer non-rechargeable power sources.
The ProTac HL 5-X USB offers impressive versatility through its TEN-TAP® Programming feature. Users can choose from three selectable programs: 1) high/strobe/low, 2) high only, or 3) low/medium/high. This allows for optimal light output and runtime depending on the user's specific needs.
When powered by the included SL-B26 battery packs, the flashlight can produce an astounding 3,500 lumens of brightness, with a beam distance of up to 452 meters. In high mode, it can run for up to 1.25 hours. Alternatively, when using four CR123A batteries, the output is still a remarkable 2,500 lumens, with a 385-meter beam and a runtime of 1.5 hours.
For more extended use, the medium and low modes provide excellent runtime. On medium, the light can run for up to 2.5 hours (CR123A) or 3 hours (SL-B26), delivering 1,000 lumens and a 237-meter beam. In low mode, the output is 250 lumens with a 120-meter beam, providing up to 10.5 hours (CR123A) or 11.5 hours (SL-B26) of illumination.
The ProTac HL 5-X USB is built to withstand the rigors of tactical and outdoor use. Its durable, anodized aluminum construction is IPX7 waterproof (up to 1 meter for 30 minutes) and impact-resistant up to 1 meter. The anti-roll head design prevents the light from rolling away when placed on a flat surface, and the rubber sleeve provides thermal insulation and a secure grip.
Weighing just 1 lb 3.4 oz (550g) with the two SL-B26 battery packs or 1 lb 2.4 oz (522g) with four CR123A batteries, the ProTac HL 5-X USB is a compact and portable powerhouse.
