The Streamlight ProTac 2L-X USB (models 88082 and 88083) and ProTac 2L-X (models 88062 and 88063) are 500 lumen Multi-Fuel EDC tactical flashlights. Both flashlights can use either a proprietary Streamlight SL-B26 protected Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery pack or two CR123A disposable batteries.
The ProTac 2L-X USB (models 88082 and 88083) is a complete rechargeable system that comes with a charge cord and SL-B26-protected Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery pack. In contrast, the ProTac 2L-X (models 88062 and 88063) is a complete non-rechargeable system that comes with two CR123A batteries.
Both the ProTac 2L-X and ProTac 2L-X USB feature a tactical tail cap switch for momentary or constant operation, three different user-selectable programs, and a pocket clip for convenience. The aluminum housing with Type II Military Spec anodizing helps make the lights extremely durable and abrasion resistant.
The lights are packaged with a removable pocket clip and holster. The multi-fuel innovation allows the use of two CR123A batteries (included) and Streamlight's SL-B26 protected Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery pack (not included).
The high setting provides maximum illumination of 500 lumens with a 165m beam, and the lights can run for 2.75 hours with the included CR123A batteries. The push-button tactical tail switch allows one-handed operation of momentary, variable intensity, or strobe mode.
Streamlight's TEN-TAP Programming offers three user-selectable programs: 1) high/strobe/low, 2) high only, and 3) low/high. The durable, anodized aluminum construction ensures the lights are IPX7 waterproof to 1m for 30 minutes and have been impact resistance tested to 2m.
